YAS!! My vegetables are growing, got some lettuce, collard greens, basil, onions and more. The weather is getting colder, meaning rain and less water I will need to use to water the plants. Wohoo. Time to think/research vegetables and plants that will survive in the winter. Is it worth it to grow sweet potatoes?

As I was watering the plants I noticed the biggest spider web in my front yard. Look at my very own Charlotte’s web. Shortly after I decided to put the heaviest fake spider on it, so Charlotte’s web no longer exists. I should have left it alone so it fits in with my halloween decor.

Apparently, SUMMER is the perfect time to grow watermelons. I was lucky enough to have my amazing neighbor Marco pick out the watermelon plants and plant them for me. Ironically, my Mom did a great job watering and tending to this precious watermelon and all the other plants. Ta da, see our beautiful watermelon below.
